While in Buffalo for a family wedding we had some time to kill before we could get all dolled up and get down. We did
this the first day, but the wedding didn't start until late afternoon, so we still had to keep four kids under the age of 7 occupied until then. What better way to do it than rent a bus (thank you Tio Paco!) and head off on a family trip to Niagara Falls.

The kids loved the bus ride! |
I have been to Niagara Falls before. Once when I was 16 and hobbling around on crutches (not advisable) and once about 6 years ago in winter (again, not advisable). This time the weather was promising us a good day and everyone was really excited. (As evidenced by the smiles in the picture above).
We arrived and agreed to meet our bus again in a couple of hours. He took a quick group shot of us and we were on our way. I don't think there is much I can tell you about Niagara Falls that you probably don't already know (although, did you know there is a Canadian side and an American side??? Inside family joke - sorry Dad, I couldn't resist). You can google it and check out all of the details in about a thousand different places so I won't bore you with them here. I will just post the pictures and say that we had a great time. It was a very nice way to spend the afternoon - relaxing and enjoying family time.
I hope the family enjoyed spending time with us as much as we enjoyed spending the morning with them. What great memories we made!

Canada in the back right corner. |

Taking a rest. It is a lot of walking. |

The kids could only stare at water for so long before they started climbing the rocks. |

Her new boyfriend! |

We stopped for icees! My favorite. |

Heading back. Notice who MadHatter is holding hands with. Yep, her new boyfriend. |
|
Success. We wore them all out! Rest up for the wedding - you're gonna need it. |
