She can read.
We were cleaning up the play room this morning and found some books that we had brought back from the U.S. a couple of weeks ago. I had unpacked them, put them in their place and promptly forgotten about them, until today. She said that she wanted to try it herself. So we sat down on the couch and I let her sound it out. Each and every word. I only had to help her with one or two tricky words but the rest...the rest she did all by herself. ALL. BY. HERSELF. I am so proud of her I just don't have any words. So, I will let her do all of the talking. Or reading, as it may be.
